PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which hardly impairs the flexibility of an absorbent body although the front surface has a large number of satisfactorily cushionable protrusions and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The absorbent article is characterized in that external protrusions 31 each having a recessed rear surface and a protruding front surface are arranged at intervals on the front surface side element consisting of a top sheet 30 and an intermediate sheet 40, internal protrusions 51 each having a recessed rear surface and a protruding front surface are formed at positions corresponding to the external protrusions 31, respectively, on the absorbent element 50 formed by enclosing the absorbent body 56 with an enclosing sheet 58, the internal protrusions 51 enters the recess of the rear surfaces of the external protrusions 31 respectively, and the density of each of the internal protrusions 51 is 1 to 3.5 times the density of the part which does not have internal protrusions 51 in the absorbent element 50.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】クッション性に富む多数の突起部を表面に有するものでありながら、吸収体の柔軟性が損なわれない吸収性物品及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】上記課題は、トップシート30及び中間シート40からなる表面側要素に、裏面が凹みかつ表面が突出する形状の外側突起部31が間隔を空けて多数配列され、吸収体56を包装シート58で包んでなる吸収要素50における、外側突起部31と対応する位置に、裏面が凹みかつ表面が突出する形状の内側突起部51がそれぞれ形成されるとともに、この内側突起部51が外側突起部31の裏面の凹み内に入り込んでおり、内側突起部51の密度が吸収要素50における内側突起部51を有しない部分の密度の1~3.5倍である、ことを特徴とする吸収性物品により解決される。【選択図】図3
