PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical implement wherein a surface lubricant layer has an uneven structure to exert excellent water holding properties, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: This medical implement includes: a base material layer and a surface lubricant layer consisting of a hydrophilic polymer having reactive monomers covering at least a part of the base material layer.
