PURPOSE: A producing method of a functional beverage using onion is provided to offer antiobesity and anticholesterol effects of acanthopanax, and excellent pharmaceutical effects of onion to the beverage. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a functional beverage using onion comprises the following: saturating acanthopanax skins in tepid water(S10)； inserting the acanthopanax into the bottom of a double boiler, and inserting the onion on the upper side of the acanthopanax before heating to obtain onion juice and acanthopanax juice(S20,S21)； mixing the onion juice and the acanthopanax juice, and concentrating the mixture to obtain a first concentrate(S24)； and secondly concentrating the first concentrate, and packing the concentrate in a pouch(S30).본 발명은 양파를 이용한 기능성 음료 제조방법을 개시한 것으로, 이러한 본 발명은 우수한 약리적 작용이 있는 양파에 특유의 향과 맛을 가지면서 인체에 유익한 성분이 다량 함유된 오가피(또는 가시오가피)를 배합하여 음용시의 안전성이 확보된 음용 가능한 기능성 액(즙) 음료를 제조한 것이며, 이에따라 항비만 및 항콜레스테롤을 활성화시킴은 물론, 비만으로 인한 관절염 억제 효과 및 혈당 강화 효과를 얻을 수 있는 것이다.
