The invention relates to a bottom plate (10) for a freight pallet and/or a freight container. The bottom plate (10) according to the invention comprises: at least one hybrid core (20) having at least one preferably aritifical-resin-impregnated foam layer (15), which is encased between a first core layer (21) made of fiber-reinforced plastic and a second core layer (18) made of fiber-reinforced plastic, wherein the hybrid core (20) comprises a foam-free edge region (11) for producing a bonded connection, in particular a planar bonded connection, between the core layers (18, 21), and a base layer (30) made of at least one metal alloy, in particular an aluminum alloy, wherein the hybrid core (20) and the base layer (30) are connected to each other, preferably by means of a bonded connection.
