To provide a multirow mat seedling transplant device of a seedling transplanter which can secure the protection of a seedling receiver plate from peripheral obstacles by simple operation so as not to expose a slide support and stock-taking port and the like to the lateral edge of a machine body when folding the seedling receiver plate.
SOLUTION: The multirow mat seedling transplant device of the seedling transplanter is composed of a seedling tank 6 for holding the mat seedling in such a state that an outside row portion is foldable the seedling receiver plate 7 formed integrally with the slide support 311 of the seedling tank 6 for receiving the lower end of the mat seedling and a planting mechanism 8 facing the seedling receiver plate 7. The outside row portion of the seedling receiver plate 7 is separately composed of a detachable side edge member 7a and there is provided a rear frame 315 for cross-protecting the rear edge of the planting mechanism 8. The rear frame 315 is provided with a seedling receiver plate-holding mechanism 316 detachably holding the side edge member 7of a the seedling receiver plate 7.
