To provide an absorbent article which has an extendable part easily attachable to a wearing article.SOLUTION: An absorbent article (10) comprises: a longitudinal direction (L)； a width direction (W) orthogonal to the longitudinal direction (L)； a body part (11) which includes a surface sheet (12) directed to the skin side of a wearer, a rear surface sheet (20) directed to an opposite side to the skin of the wearer, and a center in the longitudinal direction； an adhesive part (50) provided at the non-skin face side of the rear surface sheet at least in the body part； and an extendable part (70) folded so as to be overlapped on the body part in a thickness direction, and extendable to the outside from the body part. The extendable part has at least an area between a first folding part (FL1) for folding the absorbent article so as to make the surface sheets face each other, and a second folding part (FL2) for folding the absorbent article so as to make the rear surface sheets face each other.
