PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet watching system by which a user such as a pet owner can check how his or her pet has used pet equipment without giving stress to the pet.SOLUTION: A beacon device 3 attached to pet equipment 2 transmits a beacon signal including identification information 32a from a transmission unit 33 when use of the pet equipment 2 by a pet is detected. A camera control device 6 causes a camera 5 to capture an image of the pet equipment and the pet using the pet equipment 2 when the beacon signal is received by a reception unit 62, and uploads the image captured from the camera 5 to an image contribution server 9.
