PURPOSE: An artificial cultivation method of gastrodia is provided to offer excellent productivity considering the harvest period and yield productivity. CONSTITUTION: Planting grooves having the diameter of 9-11 cm and the depth of 3-4 cm are formed on an oak log with an interval of 25-35 cm. Spawns are inoculated inside the planting grooves. Soil is coated on the log in a thickness of 5-10 cm. Gastrodia seedlings are planted inside the planting grooves and around the log. Wood chips are sprinkled over the soil in a thickness of 10-15 cm. Another layer of soil is coated over the wood chips in a thickness of 5-10 cm. The thickness of the wood chips is 0.7-1.2 cm, and the length of the wood chips is 7-12 cm. [Reference numerals] (AA) Hood screen； (BB) Cover； (CC) Second cover soil layer； (DD) Wood chip layer； (EE) First cover soil layer (planting Gastrodia seedling)； (FF) Planting Gastrodia seedling； (GG) Seed본 발명은 땅속줄기를 한방에서 약재로 사용하는 천마(天麻)를 인공적으로 재배하기 위한 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은, 원목에 식재홈을 형성하여 이 식재홈에 종균을 접종하는 단계와, 상기 원목 위에 1차 복토하는 단계와, 상기 식재홈의 내부와 상기 원목의 주위에 종마를 식재하는 단계와, 상기 1차 복토된 위에 우드칩을 산포하는 단계와, 상기 우드칩이 산포된 위에 2차 복토하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어진다. 본 발명은 천마의 수확에 소요되는 기간이 18개월 정도로서 기존의 재배 방법들과 비교하여 장기간을 요하지 않으며, 천마의 수확량에 있어서도 100평당 3톤의 수확을 기대할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 발명은 수확기간과 수확량을 모두 고려한 생산성 면에서 매우 우수한 효과가 있는 재배 방법이다.
