PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can improve the fitting property to a hip part groove, prevent rear leakage of a body fluid, prevent twisting during use, and improve a wearing feeling.SOLUTION: A middle height part 6 of an absorber which becomes thicker to a skin side is provided on a center part in a width direction of a sanitary napkin 1 in a range at least from a body fluid discharge part H to a gluteal cleft. On both sides of the middle height part 6, left and right pair of rear side longitudinal compression grooves 12, 12 are formed extending in a substantially longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 1. Rear end parts of the rear side longitudinal compression grooves 12, 12 are separated in a lateral direction, and a rear end of the middle height part 6 is positioned on a rear side of the napkin longitudinal direction relative to rear ends of the rear side longitudinal compression grooves 12.
