PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator for forming TJ (Tight Junction) which is suitable for the improvement of a skin barrier function, the maintenance of a digestion mucous membrane function, the prevention of invasion of allergen or the like, and to provide a skin external preparation including the component thereof.SOLUTION: The TJ formation accelerator includes: a plant extract obtained from Rabdosia japonica, genus Origanum, Lamiaceae family (another name is Isodon japonica) and a polymer and a copolymer with a bioanalogous structure such as polymethacryloyl lysine and polyglucosylethyl methacrylate.
