PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a living action range of the elderly who do not have suitable moving means other than walking has to be limited since in spite of the fact that a bicycle is handy moving means for the elderly, there is a risk of overturning while a walking aid vehicle is indispensable for the elderly going shopping for daily necessaries.SOLUTION: A folding-type four-wheel bicycle is usually used as safe moving means for the elderly as a four-wheel bicycle with no risk of overturning, and when folded, can be used as a walking aid vehicle with which the elderly can walk safely, and which is convenient for shopping, thereby connecting different moving actions of walking and bicycle riding in a quick manner, and solving the problem that a living action range of the elderly becomes limited.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】高齢者にとって、自転車は手軽な移動手段であるが転倒の恐れがある。また、日用品を買い物する高齢者にとって、歩行補助車は必要不可欠なものである。このように歩行以外に適当な移動手段を持たない高齢者は、生活行動範囲が狭くならざるを得ない。【解決手段】本発明は、普段は転倒の恐れのない4輪自転車として、高齢者にとって安全な移動手段として使用でき、折りたたんだ時は高齢者が安全に歩行でき、買い物にも便利な歩行補助車として使えるようにすることで、歩行と自転車走行という異なる移動行為を速やかに繋ぎ、高齢者の生活行動範囲が狭くなる問題を解決するものである。【選択図】図1
