PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling raising method capable of growing strong seedlings in a short period of time.SOLUTION: A seedling raising method using seedling raising pots, the method for raising seedlings of crop plants, is so configured that a sheet including expanding graphite is disposed on a seedbed composed of cultivation soil, cultivation soil is placed thereon in a thickness of 5 mm or more, and seedling raising pots are disposed further thereon. In a seedling raising method using seedling raising pots, the method for raising seedlings of crop plants, culture soil blended with powdered expanded graphite is used in the seedling raising pots.
