In the present invention bhujia prepared by processed mashed corn is used in place of mashed boiled potatoes. The corn has been used in place of potatoes for two fold reasons. Firstly, the corn has very minimum percentage of carbohydrate which is very good for health. The potatoes have very high percentage of carbohydrate. The bhujia prepared by the present method accordingly contains very low percentage of carbohydrate and calories. The second advantage of the present method of mixing the paste of corn is to make the bhujia more tasty and crispy. The corn is good for health and cost effective also.
