The invention relates to polymer granules with hypericin and to a process for preparing the same, to be used for dietary supplements. The claimed granules have a hypericin uptake Qof 0.25...0.66 mg/g and a chlorophyll uptake Qof 0.0007...0.01 mg/g, the selectivity of hypericin absorption in relation to chlorophyll kof 7.3...159.9 and an average diameter of 24.3...133.7 μm. The claimed process consists in the suspension polymerization of vinyl monomers in admixture with a difunctional monomer with the role of a cross-linking agent, the hypericin imprinting being carried out with an alcoholic hypericin solution or hypericin extract from St. Johns wort, and followed by the creation of the molecular recognition centres with ethyl alcohol or with sodium hydroxide solution, and by neutralization.
