Die Erfindung betrifft außerdem neue radikalisch polymerisierbare Monomere umfassend mindestens ein polyalicyclisches Strukturelement und bestimmte ethylenische Strukturelemente, die für den Einsatz in einem erfindungsgemäßen Kompositmaterial, insbesondere einem erfindungsgemäßen dentalen Kompositmaterial, besonders geeignet sind, und deren Verwendung in einem Kompositmaterial.Composite material comprises: (a) fillers (greater than 75-95 wt.%) comprising a mixture of (a1) non-agglomerated, organic surface-modified nanoparticles with a mean particle size of less than 200 nm (greater than 10-30 wt.%) and (a2) microparticles having an average particle size of 0.4-10 mu m (45 to less than 85 wt.%) and (a3) optionally further fillers； (b) polymerizable monomers (3 to less than 25 wt.%), (c) one or more initiators and/or catalysts, and (d) optionally one or more other additives.
