A suspension for a cab base on the frame of a swather tractor includesfour dampened springs at the four corners with three links each pivoted on oneendof the frame and the other end on the base. The links include two parallellinks inthe fore and aft direction parallel to the mechanical speed control link armand oneside to side link which constrain movement of the base against fore and aftmovement and side to side movement parallel to the mechanical steering controllinkarm. This arrangement restricts movement of the base while allowing roll andpitchmovements of the cab structure with the links arranged such that steering andground speed are substantially unaffected when the cab moves on thesuspension.
