An optical scanning endoscope is provided with: an optical fibre a fibre driving unit provided with a plurality of actuators which bend side surfaces of the optical fibre by applying a pressing force thereto a mounting member which is a substantially cylindrical MID component, and which supports the fibre driving unit a control circuit which supplies driving signals to each of the plurality of actuators to control the bending amount and bending direction of the optical fibre and a wiring member for electrically connecting a plurality of wiring patterns on the mounting member to the control circuit. The mounting member is provided with a planar surface section at one base-end-surface side of the cylindrical outer-peripheral surface. The plurality of wiring patterns include at least a plurality of first patterns which each have one end section thereof disposed on the planar surface section to form a plurality of solder lands, and which have other end sections thereof electrically connected to each of the plurality of actuators at a base-end surface of the mounting member.
