PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide recalcification promoters which do not have a problem in safety when used to a composition for oral cavity and food and drink, are inexpensive, and can prevent dental caries or inhibit onset of the same by promoting recalcification of tooth enamel that have been decalcified and compositions for oral cavity and foods and drinks containing the promoters.SOLUTION: Provided are recalcification promoters for tooth enamel, the promoters containing as active ingredient, sugar carboxylic acid or calcium salt thereof such as maltobionic acid, obtained by oxidizing an aldehyde group on the reducing terminal side of a starch decomposition product or transfer reaction product which has a degree of polymerization of 2 or more and further compositions for oral cavity and foods and drinks manufactured by adding the recalcification promoters.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 口腔用組成物や飲食物に使用しても安全において問題なく、安価で且つ、脱灰した歯牙エナメル質の再石灰化を促進するなどにより、齲蝕の予防又は初症を抑制することができる再石灰化促進剤及びそれらを含有した口腔用組成物並びに飲食物を提供する。【解決手段】 重合度2以上の澱粉分解物又は転移反応物の還元末端側のアルデヒド基が酸化されたものである、マルトビオン酸などの糖カルボン酸及び/又はそのカルシウム塩を有効成分とする歯牙エナメル質の再石灰化促進剤、更にはそれら再石灰化促進剤を添加し製造した口腔用組成物及び飲食物。【選択図】 なし
