PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric reel for fishing, which can smoothly perform a series of operations from a thumbing operation to a winding operation of a spool while a fishing rod and a reel body are held by a single hand in a holding state.SOLUTION: The electric reel for fishing includes: the spool 7 which is arranged between right and left side boards 5A and 5B of the reel body 5 and to which a fishing line is wound a driving motor 8 which is installed in the reel body 5 and rotationally drives the spool 7 and an operation member 25 adjusting output of the driving motor 8. The operation member 25 is disposed in an operable position while the spool 7 is thumbed by a thumb of a hand holding the fishing rod and the reel body 5 and is supported by the reel body 5 so that an operation direction becomes an almost cross direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】手持ち状態で、釣竿とリール本体を片手で把持保持しながら、サミング操作からスプールの巻き取り操作に至る一連の操作をスムーズに行える魚釣用電動リールを提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る魚釣用電動リールは、リール本体5の左右側板5A,5B間に設けられ、釣糸が巻回されるスプール7と、リール本体5に設けられ、スプール7を回転駆動する駆動モータ8と、駆動モータ8の出力を調整する操作部材25とを有する。そして、操作部材25は、釣竿とリール本体5を把持保持した手の親指でスプール7をサミング操作しながら操作可能な位置に配設され、かつ、操作方向が略前後方向となるようにリール本体5に支持されている。【選択図】図1
