PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for assisting a user in standing up.SOLUTION: A standing-up assistance method and apparatus measures a pressure applied to a part of a body of a user S510, acquires information about a torque corresponding to the measured pressure S520, and provides standing-up assistance force to the body of the user on the basis of the information about the torque S530.
