PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe home thermotherapy device which has a high therapeutic effect, is easy to handle, and is inexpensive, and which allows a user to easily undergo effective thermotherapy even at home.SOLUTION: A home thermotherapy device includes: a heating pad 11 having a planar heating body 21 which includes a heating wire 27 nearly uniformly arranged on one entire surface of a planar core material 24 and which generates heat by being supplied with power and power supply means for supplying power to the planar heating body 21. The home thermotherapy device is put on a users body and warms an affected area with the heating pad 11. The heating pad 11 generates heat using a constant voltage power source which does not cause a low-temperature burn by the amount of heat generation or the temperature during use, and which can continuously warm the affected area for a long time.
