The present technical solution in general relates to methods and systems of computer technology, in particular to automated computer methods and systems which help users and companies to take decisions on the basis of a computerized assessment of user capabilities. A method for preparing recommendations for taking decisions on the basis of a computerized assessment of the personality and capabilities of users, in which a user is given access to at least one computerized task for the execution thereof； emotions of the user are identified in real time during the execution of the at least one task by means of at least one video camera； data are obtained about the user's execution of the at least one task； at least one capability of the user is determined on the basis of data obtained after the at least one task is executed and the identified emotions of the user； recommendations for the user are formulated for taking decisions on the basis of the at least one capability determined in the preceding step. The technical effect is to raise the completeness, accuracy and speed of evaluating user capabilities.
