A computing system 102 for providing cloud-computing services via a data communication network 110 arrangement including a data server arrangement 104 which includes a tokenized or ticketed accounting arrangement 106 that is operable to control providing services to one or more users 112 and at least one application program interface (API) layer 108 that is operable to manage and monitor user utilisation of the data server arrangement via the tokenized accounting arrangement. The system may be operable to make one or more clusters of servers available for allocating one or more services for implementing a given task and redeploy the servers at the completion of the given task. The API layer may collate information from the token accounting arrangement for predicting temporal changes or patterns for use in controlling provision of server capacity.
