The current disclosure, in one embodiment, includes a polysaccharide conjugate. This conjugate has a polysaccharide and at least one liner covalently bound to the polysaccharide. The conjugate also has at least one metal conjugated by said linker. According to another embodiment, the disclosure provides a method of synthesizing a polysaccharide conjugate by covalently bonding a linker to a polysaccharide to obtain an intermediate and by conjugating said intermediate to a metal to form a polysaccharide conjugate. This conjugate has a higher relaxivity, so it is suitable to be used as a contrast medium for hybrid camera.Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne un conjugué de polysaccharide. Ce conjugué comprend un polysaccharide et au moins un lieur lié par covalence au polysaccharide. Le conjugué comprend également au moins un métal conjugué par ledit lieur. Selon un autre mode de réalisation, la présente invention concerne un procédé de synthèse dun conjugué de polysaccharide par liaison covalente dun lieur avec un polysaccharide pour obtenir un intermédiaire, et par conjugaison dudit intermédiaire avec un métal pour former un conjugué de polysaccharide. Ce conjugué présente une relaxivité plus élevée, de sorte quil se prête bien à une utilisation en tant que milieu de contraste pour une caméra hybride.
