<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scoop-type compost agitator that can avoid agitator from falling into a state where its functions stop, due to the load of agglomerated sludge mass crushing down during fermentation treatment, and to provide a scraper device for compost raw material, and to provide a method for controlling the same. <;P>;SOLUTION: This compost agitator, of which the support framework spanned in a compost fermenting vessel, is made to advance to a side of insert port for raw materials, from a compost discharge port side at the rearward of the fermentation vessel along a rail, and also slashes back the compost raw material with an agitation blade pivoted to the support framework is equipped with a setting part F1 for electric current value that flows to a turning machine of the agitation blade and for retreating distance relative to a traveling machine of the agitator; a detecting part D1 of the electric current that flows to the rotary machine; a comparison computing part C11 for comparing and computing the electric current value of the set part, to the electric current of the detecting part; and a drive-control part C1, having an output-control part for stopping the rotary machine by receiving the output from the computing part, notifying that the detected electric current value exceeds the electric current value set, and after making the agitator retreat, by outputting a retreating command for a prescribed distance to the traveling machine that outputs an advance-restarting command to the traveling machine. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
