PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catheter capable of improving reliability.SOLUTION: An electrode catheter 1 has flexibility and comprises a shaft 2 having, in order from an operation part 3 side, a first area A1 and a second area A2 along an own axial direction (a Z-axis direction). The shaft 2 comprises: electrodes (ring-shaped electrodes 21a, 21b, and 21c and a tip electrode 22) provided at the second area A2 a plurality of pores (lumens H21, H22, H23 and H24) formed at the second area A2 and extending along the axial direction and a tubular structure (a tubular member 4) provided at the first area A1, and including a braided layer 4b that is formed by arranging a plurality of plate-like wire members 43 crossingly with each other and extending along the axial direction.
