PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemostatic instrument with high operability, capable of quickly arresting hemorrhage at an injured part of a blood vessel, while securing a sufficient blood flow by a low-invasive and percutaneous approach without especially requiring an appropriate supply operation such as gas in emergencies.SOLUTION: A hemostatic instrument 100 includes: a cylindrical braided-body (a mesh stent 1) formed by braiding wires 1a a first shaft (an inner tube 2) in which one end in the axial direction of the braided body is fixed to a distal end thereof and a cylindrical second shaft (an outer tube 3) in which the other end in the axial direction of the braided body is fixed to the distal end thereof. At least any one of the first shaft and the second shaft is moved in a direction relatively not overlapped with the axial direction, so that the braided body is extended in the axial direction and reduced in the radial direction to be able to be inserted/retracted with respect to the blood vessel.
