PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter and a balloon catheter in which an outer layer is less likely to be released from an inner layer even when the outer layer is pulled in an axial direction (an end direction and a rear end direction).SOLUTION: In a catheter 1, a reinforcement body 30 extends from a small diameter part 31 to a large diameter part 33, and by anchor effects of an outer layer 40 and a strand 20 buried there in the large diameter part 33, when the catheter 1 is inserted in the blood vessel, the biliary tract, the pancreatic duct, and the like and the outer layer 40 is pulled in the axial direction (an end direction and a rear end direction) in a narrow part or a closed part, it is possible to reduce risks that the outer layer 40 is released from the inner layer 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、外層が軸方向(先端方向及び後端方向)に引っ張られた場合でも、外層が内層から剥離しにくいカテーテル及びバルーンカテーテルを提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】カテーテル1では、補強体30が小径部31から大径部33に向かって拡径し、大径部33で外層40とそこに埋没している素線20とのアンカー効果により、カテーテル1を血管、胆管、膵管等を挿入した際に、狭窄部又は閉塞部で外層40が軸方向(先端方向及び後端方向)に引っ張られた場合でも、外層40が内層10から剥離する恐れを低減することができる。【選択図】図2
