PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction catheter and a connector for a suction catheter which can suppress blockage of a blood vessel.SOLUTION: A connector 12 of a suction catheter comprises: a tip opening 201 arranged on an end part of an axial direction tip side a base end opening 202 arranged on an axial direction base end side end part an inner space communicating the tip opening 201 and the base end opening 202, and extending in the axial direction a blood vessel insertion part 21 having a diameter enlarged part 2121 a straight piping part 23 arranged on a base end side of the diameter enlarged part 212 and a recess 221 arranged on the base end side of the diameter enlarged part 212 and a tip side of the straight piping part 23. An outer diameter of the diameter enlarged part 212 increases gradually from the tip side to the base end side. An outer diameter of the straight piping part 23 is almost equal. An outer peripheral surface of the recess 221 becomes dent toward inside of the radial direction relative to a portion adjacent to the axial direction. Therefore, ligation with a blood vessel is performed on the recess 221, force for expanding the blood vessel acts on a tip side of the ligation position. Therefore, blockage of the blood vessel can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】血管の閉塞を抑制できる、吸引用カテーテルおよび吸引用カテーテル用のコネクタを提供する。【解決手段】この吸入カテーテル用のコネクタ12は、軸方向先端側の端部に配置される先端開口部201と、軸方向基端側端部に配置される基端開口部202と、先端開口部201および基端開口部202とを連通し、軸方向に延びる内部空間と、拡径部2121を有する血管挿入部21と、拡径部212の基端側に配置される直管部23と、拡径部212の基端側および直管部23の先端側に配置される凹部221と、を有する。拡径部212は、先端側から基端側に向かって外径が漸増する。直管部23の外径は略一定である。凹部221は、軸方向に隣接する部位よりも外周面が径方向内側へ凹む。これにより、凹部221において血管との結紮が行われると、結紮箇所の先端側で血管を広げる力が作用する。これにより、血管の閉塞が生じるのが抑制される。【選択図】図2
