PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation base enabling a user to easily grow plants on the rooftop or roof of a building. SOLUTION: This mat-like multilayer-sheet vegetation base is such one that at least three filmy sheets each having a flow hole with a prescribed size at prescribed intervals are laminated, wherein at least one surface of at least one of the filmy sheets has plural projecting parts and therefore clearance is made between the two filmy sheets adjacent to each other due to the projecting parts, and at least one of the contacting surfaces of two filmy sheets has no projecting part and therefore some contacting surfaces without clearance are made.
