An introducer sheath for use in hybrid procedures on the heart comprises a shaft (2) having a distal balloon (5) which is inflated inside the heart wall. A proximal collar (6) is slidable along the shaft (2) and locked to anchor the sheath to the wall of the heart. The sheath has markings visible to both the naked eye and under fluoroscopy to aid in judging the depth of insertion.Une gaine d'introduction destinée à être utilisée dans des interventions hybrides sur le coeur comprend une tige (2) ayant un ballonnet distal (5) qui est gonflé à l'intérieur de la paroi cardiaque.
