PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a herbal medicine ingredient and an extract that are derived from an organic body for preventing and treating a metabolic syndrome by paying attention to white peach blossom.SOLUTION: The herbal medicine ingredient is aromadendrin as a natural ingredient included in the extract of a methyl acetate fraction derived from a white peach blossom. Further, the extract is an extract of the methyl acetate fraction or a water fraction. The herbal medicine ingredient and the extract can promote the differentiation of a precursor adipose cell into an adipose cell to prevent and treat a metabolic syndrome.
