PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire that enables stable use by suppressing excessive bend when colliding with an affected area.SOLUTION: A guide wire 10 includes a shaft 20, an outer coil body 30 formed by being wound around the tip of the shaft 20, and an inner coil body 50 provided inside of the outer coil body 30. The inner spring body 50 has a first inside coil section 52 disposed in the tip inside of the outer coil body 30, and a second inside coil section 54 disposed in the base end side of the first inside coil section 52. The base end side of the first inside coil section 52 is connected to the shaft 20 by a first connection 45, and the tip side of the second inside coil section 54 is connected thereto by a second connection 46, respectively.
