To solve the problem of insufficiency of threshing caused by the unbalance of the conveyance speed of a grain culm-feeding and conveying device and the rotation of a threshing cylinder.
SOLUTION: The combine harvester is constituted as follows. A reaping part 4 is installed in the front side of a traveling device 3, and a threshing device 2 is installed in the upper part of the traveling device 3. A front-side feeding and conveying device 13 for synchronization is installed in the starting terminal side of the grain culm-feeding and conveying device 12 for conveying the grain culms while feeding the grain culms to a threshing chamber of the threshing device 2 by nipping the root sides of the grain culms reaped by the reaping part 4. A constant rotation from an engine 22 is transmitted to the grain culm-feeding and conveying device 12 in combination with the threshing cylinder 34 of the threshing device 2. The front-side feeding and conveying device 13 for the synchronization and the reaping part 4 are constituted so as to be driven by changing the speed by a single-purpose continuous speed-changing device 21 for reaping and conveying and increasing or decreasing the number of rotation by synchronizing with the traveling speed. The continuous speed-changing device 21 for the reaping and conveying is attached to the position at the inside of a machine body of a gear case 50 for transmitting to branch the rotation of the engine 22 into the threshing cylinder 34 and the grain culm-feeding and conveying device 12.
