PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of reaping operation by enabling grain culms planted at a levee side to be easily reaped.SOLUTION: The grain culm-raising device is constituted as follows. An assistant raising device 9 for raising the grain culms at the levee side is installed in the front of the lower part of a raising device 8 at the already reaped side in the raising devices 7 and 8 installed in the reaping device 3. A transmission device 10 for driving an assistant raising lug 9b of the assistant raising device 9 is installed in the rear side of the raising device 8 at the already reaped side.
