PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reaping operation to be smoothly carried out by preventing a grass-dividing body from poking into a field surface.

SOLUTION: A combine harvester is obtained by installing a reaping device (4) for reaping planted standing grain culms, installed in the front part of a traveling carriage (3) so as to be freely lifted and lowered, installing a main grass-dividing body (10) for dividing the planted standing grain culms, in the front-side lower part of the reaping device (4) by being supported by the front terminal part of a grass-dividing frame (9), attaching a base part of a supporting frame (12) to the front part of the grass-dividing frame (9) so as to be freely turnable in the upper and lower direction, attaching a sub-grass-dividing body (13) to the tip terminal part of the supporting frame (12) and attaching the base part of an arm (15) to the supporting frame (12) so as to be freely turnable, and further installing a reaping height sensor (14) for detecting the reaping height by the turning position of the arm (15).
