PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of restraining a body fluid, which oozes from an absorber by application of pressure to the absorbent article, from leaking out from the width direction of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet 2 which has a longitudinal direction (Y-direction) and a width direction (X-direction) and which is provided on a skin side a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3 which is provided on a clothing side and a liquid-retentive absorber which includes edges elongated in the longitudinal direction on both width-direction sides and which is provided between the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3. The absorbent article includes a plurality of first channels 21 and a plurality of second channels 22, into which a body fluid oozing from the absorber is to be poured, on at least the outsides of both the width-direction edges of the absorber.
