PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garlic-containing seasoning suitable for a wide variety of foods with effective utilization of the flavor of food materials, having a mellow flavor with enhanced sweetness, while the sharp flavor of a seasoning which contains garlic, soy sauce, and/or tomato being suppressed.SOLUTION: Garlic processed with rapid heating is added to a seasoning which contains soy sauce and/or tomato so as to produce a garlic-containing seasoning having a mellow flavor with enhanced sweetness.
