SUBSTANCE: process of test of friction pair consists in run-in of friction pair in lubrication medium which maximum permissible temperature is higher than that of working lubrication medium, in subsequent immersion of members of friction pair into working lubrication medium, in action of gradually increasing load on it, in registration of friction coefficient at each stage in zone of friction contact, in selection of maximum value of friction coefficient and in determination of value of ultimate load by this value.
