The installation (1) has a row (5) of identical housing modules (2), where each housing module includes a circulation corridor (7) extending a circulation corridor of the other housing module. The housing modules form together a part of a single building. The housing modules include wings (8) placed in a side-by-side manner for receiving and bedding a predetermined number of cattle heads, respectively. The row of identical housing modules and another row of housing identical modules define an annex corridor between the rows of modules. An independent claim is also included for a cattle housing unit comprising a support frame.
