PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device and a bathing support device which can be easily operated by an assistant.SOLUTION: A bathing support device 1 is configured so that: a support member 36 has a rotation axis part 38 for rotating a handrail member 8a the rotation axis part 38 is connected to the handrail member 8a so that the handrail member 8a is rotated between a first position X1 where an assistant can contact and operate the handrail member and the handrail member comes close to a stool member 2 and a second position X2 where the handrail member is engaged by an engagement mechanism 9 and is separated from the stool member 2 and the assistant.
