We provide mechanisms and methods for monitoring infants more effectively to improve the content of care and infant development. The system can include a wearable infant monitor, a transmission interface and a monitoring hub. The wearable infant monitoring apparatus includes each sensor for detecting the activity and posture of the infant. The transmission interface transmits measurement data related to the activity and posture of the infant. The monitoring hub includes a processor configured to receive the measurement data and to determine the acceptability of the infant for learning.
