PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extracorporeal circulation apparatus and a method thereof capable of correctly understanding deterioration of a motor and notifying a user of its condition.SOLUTION: An extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1 for performing extracorporeal circulation of blood of a subject, has: a motor unit 4, a pump unit 3 driven by the motor unit an artificial heart lung unit 2 and an operation determining unit 114 that determines an operation of the motor unit.
