A cultivation method for raising triterpenoid component of Antrodia cinnamomea is to add a predetermined proportion of substances such as malt extract, glucose, peptone, agar and mushroom extract etc. into distilled water and mix uniformly. Then the mixed culture medium is placed in an autoclave for heating and sterilizing at a predetermined pressure and temperature for a suitable time. The sterilized culture medium is then poured into a culture dish to a suitable height in a sterile environment, and allowed to stand and cool the culture medium solution to form a solid culture medium. The strains of Antrodia cinnamomea are inoculated into different positions of the solid culture medium, with the positions at an appropriate spacing.
