PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can fit to an excreting part of a wearer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article (1) comprising a longitudinal direction, a width direction and a thickness direction which are orthogonal each other, and comprises: an absorber (10) having liquid absorbent fibers and a non-skin side sheet (30) arranged closer to a non-skin side than the absorber in the thickness direction. The absorber (10) comprises a recess (15) along a longitudinal direction on a crotch portion provided on at least a crotch part in wearing time, on a center area in a width direction of a non-skin side surface, and a fiber density of a skin side portion (H) adjacent to the recess (15) from a skin side in the thickness direction is higher than a fiber density of an outside portion (L) adjacent to the recess (15) in the width direction from outside.
