FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: method of root crops growing with combined irrigation includes a soil preparation, a layout of irrigation pipe-line with droppers, a pre-seeding watering, a planting of plants, a vegetative irrigation, a periodic application of liquid fertilizers and inter-row processing. The rows of plants are formed by means of at least two pairs of irrigation pipe-lines. The centers of the adjacent droppers along the irrigation pipe-lines are located at the vertices of regular hexagons. In the center of the hexagons there are irrigators for fine sprinkling. The plants of the outer sides of the rows are planted from the inside of the external irrigation pipe-lines. The plants of the inner sides of the rows are planted from the outside of the internal irrigation pipe-lines. Drip irrigation is carried out until the humidification contours are partially closed on the field surface. When the ambient temperature is exceeded above the biologically optimal for the cultivated variety, pulsed, fine-dispersed sprinkling is carried out. The device for combined irrigation of root crops contains water pipe-lines with droppers, fine-dispersing sprinklers and rows of plants connected with water pipe-lines. The water pipe-lines are arranged in pairs symmetrically to the axis of rows of plants. The centers of the droppers of each of the water pipe-lines of the pair are displaced in the longitudinal direction. The displacement of the centers of the droppers is equal to half the pitch between the droppers.
