Each growing unit comprises a growth medium and a planting pipe used for containing the growth medium, wherein seeds or the plants can be placed on the growth medium to be cultivated. The planting pipes are vertically arranged. An implanting opening for loading or discharging the corresponding growth medium is formed in one end of each planting pipe. A growth groove communicated with the corresponding implanting opening is formed in the side wall of each planting pipe in the longitudinal direction, so that the seeds or the plants grow outwards. The irrigation device comprises an irrigation opening used for watering the planting pipes. According to the tower, the growth media with the seeds or the plants are placed into the planting pipes, the plants in the planting pipes vertically placed are planted by utilizing three-dimensional space, and the yield is increased; the irrigation device ensures water consumption for plant growth, and workloads are reduced; after the plants grow up, the growing units can be taken down from the tower rack integrally, and transported to the terminal to be sold, and consumers can buy crops like fresh vegetables in growth.
