PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a near-field infrared microspectroscopic method which enables the detection of an infrared spectrum with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: A columnar sample stand (40), which has a diameter not larger than that of a sample (6) to be measured and keeps its columnar central part (41) liftable, is prepared in order to perform the spectrometric measurement of the micro-region (6a) of the sample (6) to be measured using near-field light emitted by irradiating the leading end of a probe with infrared rays and the sample (6) to be measured is installed on the sample stand (40) so that its micro-region (6a) comes to the center of the columnar central part (41) while the sample (6) to be measured is fixed to the side surface of the sample stand (40) using a ring (42) or the like and isotropically developed by raising the columnar central part (41) to be formed into a thin film.
