PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically control a radiation dose by a simple configuration of a radiation detector, without increasing the amount of exposure for a subject.SOLUTION: From pixels 50 of the radiation detector 14, electric charges are read by turning on TFT switches 52. Short-circuited pixels 50A in which the TFT switches 52 are short-circuited among the pixels 50 are provided over the entire surface of the radiation detector 14 at a prescribed interval.
