The invention relates to a strain of Serratia plymuthica Ps33 having a deposit number NCAIM (P) B0011366 intended to be used as a bioinoculant for the protection of agricultural crops and for the biofortification of the grain cereal crops in regions of selenium deficit. The strain of Serratia plymuthica Ps33 has an action of protecting the crops against phytopatogenic fungi in the soil and an antagonist action against the bacteria which affect fruit trees upon blossoming, stimulates growth of wheat plants by producing volatile compounds, it promotes phosphorus solubilization, biodisponibilization of selenium and accumulation thereof into the grains, exhibits high mobility and forms biofilms which colonize the surfaces of the plant organs while resisting to adverse environment factors.Prezenta invenţie se referă la o tulpină de, cu număr de depozit NCAIM (P) B001366, care este destinată aplicării ca bioinoculant pentru protecţia culturilor agricole şi pentru biofortifierea recoltei de cereale-boabe în zonele cu deficit de seleniu. Tulpina deare acţiune de protecţie a plantelor de cultură faţă de ciuperci fitopatogene de sol, şi acţiune antagonistă faţă de bacteriile care afectează pomii fructiferi la înflorit, stimulează dezvoltarea plantelor de grâu prin producerea de compuşi volatili şi solubilizarea fosforului, biodisponibilizează seleniul şi favorizează acumularea acestuia în boabe, prezintă mobilitate ridicată şi formează biofilme care colonizează suprafeţele organelor plantelor şi rezistă la factorii adverşi de mediu.
